North Carolina Institute of Medicine Primary Care and Specialty Supply Summit

The NC IOM Task Force on Primary Care and Specialty Supply Summit brough together key leaders in North Carolina state health policy to discuss anticipated future shortages in supply of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives. The goal of the Summit was to explore the underlying reasons for the shortages and review preliminary recommendations developed by the NC IOM's Task Force on Primary Care and Specialty Supply.
