Phyllis Blackwell Editorial Assistant Assistant Managing Editor, North Carolina Medical Journal As assistant managing editor of the North Carolina Medical Journal, Ms. Blackwell edits Journal articles, including commentaries and scientific manuscripts, and manages advertising accounts and reader services. She also copy edits NCIOM task force reports. Ms. Blackwell attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. For sixteen years she taught English and journalism in North Carolina public schools.
